RSVP Now for Adelita Grijalva, Phyllis Bennis, and more on our Sunday Town Hall

RSVP Now for this Sunday’s Progressive Town Hall: March 29, 4pm ET/1pm PT

We are in the midst of one of the worst international crises of our lifetime. The illegal war of aggression, launched by the United States and Israel on February 28th, against the sovereign nation of Iran has already catapulted into a severe regional conflict, having a massive negative impact on the entire world’s economy.

All of this – on top of the continuing mass slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza; increasing attacks in the West Bank; the destabilization of the NATO alliance; preparation for another major U.S. attack in the Caribbean, complimented by a steady drumbeat of war crimes (extrajudicial killings) – amounts to a coordinated assault on international law and international institutions the likes of which we haven’t seen since Germany and Japan launched WWII.

Who better to make sense of it all than Phyllis Bennis, a PDA ally from the day our organizatioin was founded. Phyllis directs the Institute for Policy Studies’ New Internationalism Project, focusing on the Middle East, particularly Palestinian rights, U.S. militarism, and UN issues. She serves as International Adviser for Jewish Voice for Peace. Her most recent book, just published, is Understanding Palestine and Israel.

Phyllis Bennis makes sense of the chaos that is enveloping the world. Just as importantly, at a moment when the United States clearly needs a new approach to foreign policy, it’s time for progressives not only to demand an end to these aggressive criminal wars, but to construct a viable vision for America’s engagement with the world that promotes peace, cooperation, and prosperity – and no one has better ideas on that front than Phyllis Bennis.

Then, in hour 2 we’ll be joined by powerhouse progressive member of Congress Adelita Grijalva to provide her insights on Congress and issues of the day, along with top shelf first-time candidate for Congress, Chris Espinosa.

We’ll also debrief Saturday’s huge No Kings III events across the country.

It will be a jam-packed town hall that you won’t want to miss.
