Politico reports that we may be spending up to $2 billion a day on this outrageous war against Iran<\/strong>. Remember when Trump and his GOP allies said we couldn\u2019t afford to keep people healthy, housed, and safe, then they gave our  money to billionaires in the Big Ugly Bill? We do! Tell Congress to stop the war on Iran and fund our health care!<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Tell Congress: Rein in ICE and Border Patrol!<\/a><\/strong>
We are still fighting hard to get ICE and Border Patrol out of our communities\u2013replacing one MAGA figure with another at DHS is not enough. Congress is still negotiating over the bill that funds these agencies, and legislators need to hear from their constituents. Tell your elected officials that we demand civil rights protections and for them to slash funding for ICE. Contact Congress now<\/a>.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Keep Families Together and Housed<\/a><\/strong>
In another desperate bid to blame immigrants for their own policy failures, Trump and HUD are trying to kick \u201cmixed status\u201d immigrant families out of public and subsidized housing. It\u2019s cruel, costly, and counterproductive\u2014kicking 37,000 citizen children to the curb during a housing crisis and wasting millions on red tape instead of keeping people housed. Add your voice: urge HUD Secretary Scott Turner to stop trying to separate families and make them homeless<\/strong><\/a>.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
