President Donald Trump<\/strong> may not be done terminating cabinet members.<\/p>\n Hours after Attorney General Pam Bondi<\/strong> was shown the door on Thursday, Politico reported<\/a> that Trump may have his sights set on Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick<\/strong> and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer<\/strong>, and is considering other changes.<\/p>\n Bondi’s removal comes less than two weeks after Trump fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/strong>, and on the same day the Department of Defense moved to jettison<\/a> Army Chief of Staff Gen.\u00a0Randy George<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very angry and he\u2019s going to be moving people,\u201d an administration official told Politico, which granted anonymity to four sources familiar with Trump’s thinking.<\/p>\n Lutnick, who one of the officials said is on “thin ice,” admitted<\/a>\u00a0in February that he and his family traveled to Jeffrey Epstein’s<\/strong> private Caribbean island in 2012, four years after Epstein was convicted of child sex trafficking. The secretary previously denied<\/a> having any relationship with Epstein and stated that he “barely had anything to do with that person.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Chavez-DeRemer was accused<\/a> in January of bringing her Labor Department subordinates to a strip club and keeping booze in her desk. The following month, it was reported that her husband Shawn DeRemer<\/strong>, who has no role in the Labor Department, was banned<\/a> from the building after staffers there accused him of sexual assault.<\/p>\n Shortly after Politico published its report on Thursday, The Atlantic<\/em> suggested additional heads could roll.<\/p>\n “Several people familiar with the White House\u2019s plans told us that there are active discussions about others leaving the administration, including FBI Director Kash Patel<\/strong>, Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll<\/strong>,” the publication reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n The personnel tumult comes amid Trump’s ongoing and unpopular war in Iran, which has done his favorability among Americans no favors.
