The polling also shows that Michiganders are mostly concerned with excess water use and increased energy costs when it comes to the impacts of hyperscale data center development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom Marquette to Monroe, Michiganders are concerned about how hyperscale AI data centers will impact their communities,&#8221;&nbsp;<strong>said Justin Mendoza, executive director of Progress Michigan<\/strong>. \u201cOur polling shows that when it comes to data centers, Michiganders are mostly concerned with energy costs and water use.
