Rupert Lowe, the leader of the far-right Restore Britain party, has been left humiliated after trying to claim that his party done \u2018extremely well\u2019 in the Makerfield by-election, despite just gaining just over 6% of the vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The crucial by-election, which was won comfortably by Andy Burnham, who secured more votes than Reform and Restore Britain combined, was seen by Restore as a key test for its party with it claiming previously that it would shake the British establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lowe, who was booted out of Reform, has led up Restore, which pushes hateful narratives against Muslims and minorities and has called for mass deportations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had been claiming for weeks that Restore would be outperforming expectations and posted on X yesterday: \u201cWe\u2019re going to surprise a good few people later tonight\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to Sky News, Lowe tried to claim that Restore had done \u2018extremely well\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A laughable claim given how much he had tried to claim that Restore would cause a major upset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One social media user wrote: \u201c\u2018Sir Oswald Mosley\u2019 never stood a chance with his hate-filled racist and divisive nonsense. He didn\u2019t even manage to challenge frog face\u2019s numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMay he long enjoy a majority of 1.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another added: \u201cMaybe people will now realise Twitter isn’t the real World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMany believed Rupert Lowe’s bullshit that Restore were going to win.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
