The document release, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/media\/1426091\/dl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>required<\/span><\/a> under the Epstein Files Transparency Act passed by Congress in November, has surfaced new details about Epstein\u2019s activities and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2026\/02\/17\/us\/epstein-files-names-fired-resigned-fallout.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>associates<\/span><\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"\">A new Data for Progress <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filesforprogress.org\/datasets\/2026\/2\/dfp_epstein_feb_26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>poll<\/span><\/a> finds that voters are hearing more about the Epstein files today than in 2025. In a survey from July 11-12 last year, only 25% of voters said they had heard \u201ca lot\u201d about the Epstein files, but today, that number has risen to 45%. A plurality (48%) of voters say he should be impeached, including 49% of Independents, while 45% say he should not be impeached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n    \n  \n    \n\n      \n\n      \n        <figure class=\"\n              sqs-block-image-figure\n              intrinsic\n            \">\n          \n        \n        \n\n        \n          \n            \n          \n            \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                <img decoding=\"async\" data-stretch=\"false\" data-image=\"https:\/\/images.squarespace-cdn.com\/content\/v1\/5aa9be92f8370a24714de593\/2108d438-8555-4872-8677-e5df83415d01\/image6.png\" data-image-dimensions=\"1440x1032\" data-image-focal-point=\"0.5,0.5\" alt=\"\" data-load=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/images.squarespace-cdn.com\/content\/v1\/5aa9be92f8370a24714de593\/2108d438-8555-4872-8677-e5df83415d01\/image6.png?format=1000w\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1032\" loading=\"lazy\" data-loader=\"sqs\">\n\n            \n          \n        \n          \n        \n\n        \n      \n        <\/figure>\n      \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n  <p class=\"\">In recent weeks, some Democrats, including Representative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/rep-ro-khanna-cracks-maga-coalition-epstein-files-rcna244375\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>Ro Khanna<\/span><\/a> and Senator <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Acyn\/status\/2020208412794187884\"><span>Jon Ossoff<\/span><\/a>, have spoken out against the \u201cEpstein class.\u201d<\/p><p class=\"\">Without being prompted with a definition for the term \u201cEpstein class,\u201d a majority of voters believe that Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and Donald Trump are part of the \u201cEpstein class.\u201d A plurality of voters also say the same for Elon Musk and Alan Dershowitz.<\/p><p class=\"\">For the other five individuals tested, a plurality \u2014 and in the case of Bernie Sanders, a majority \u2014 say they would not consider them part of the \u201cEpstein class.\u201d Less than 1 in 4 voters say they would consider Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or Marjorie Taylor Greene as part of the \u201cEpstein class.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n    \n  \n    \n\n      \n\n      \n        <figure class=\"\n              sqs-block-image-figure\n              intrinsic\n            \">\n          \n        \n        \n\n        \n          \n            \n          \n            \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                <img decoding=\"async\" data-stretch=\"false\" data-image=\"https:\/\/images.squarespace-cdn.com\/content\/v1\/5aa9be92f8370a24714de593\/2dd7f27c-9a13-481c-ada4-589946437f90\/image4.png\" data-image-dimensions=\"1640x1458\" data-image-focal-point=\"0.5,0.5\" alt=\"\" data-load=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/images.squarespace-cdn.com\/content\/v1\/5aa9be92f8370a24714de593\/2dd7f27c-9a13-481c-ada4-589946437f90\/image4.png?format=1000w\" width=\"1640\" height=\"1458\" loading=\"lazy\" data-loader=\"sqs\">\n\n            \n          \n        \n          \n        \n\n        \n      \n        <\/figure>\n      \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n  <p class=\"\">Similarly, voters consider \u201cwealthy elites\u201d to be part of the \u201cEpstein class\u201d by an overwhelming margin, with 74% of voters in agreement. At the same time, voters broadly associate the \u201cEpstein class\u201d with wealthy elites and powerful figures across party lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\n<hr \/>\n\n\n  <p class=\"\"><strong>Survey Methodology<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">From February 13 to 17, 2026, Data for Progress conducted a survey of 1,228 U.S. likely voters nationally using web panel respondents. The sample was weighted to be representative of likely voters by age, gender, education, race, geography, and recalled presidential vote. The survey was conducted in English.
