The weaponization of the federal government could be used by any president \u2013 of any party \u2013 to punish anyone who disagrees with their agenda. It is a direct attack on the rule of law and the core rights of every American. And it is time for every leader who cares about our democracy to speak up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As with every authoritarian assault, the real target isn\u2019t one leader, it\u2019s all of us. The goal is to intimidate, silence, and divide. But we see through these attacks \u2013 and we will not be silent. We are proud to stand in full solidarity with AG Letitia James and with every courageous leader who refuses to bend to corruption and fear.<\/p>\n
