RVSP For This Sunday’s Town Hall: Let’s add 4 new progressives to Congress
Join the Weekly Town Hall! RSVP here.
Tuesday, in New York, progressive voters can help send three new progressives to Congress.
Claire Valdez (NY-7)
Brad Lander (NY-10)
Darializa Avila Chevalier (NY-13)
They are backed by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and the Progressive Democrats of America.
Former Representative Jamaal Bowman will break it all down for us tomorrow.
Next month in Arizona, voters can shock the world and send Kai Newkirk to Congress from another ultra-blue district currently represented by a corporate Democrat.
As Kai describes his incumbent, centrist Democratic opponent:
He’s a New Democrat, a pro-business Democrat who takes corporate money. They’re part of the anti-fascist coalition that we need to defeat Trump and the Republicans.
But I think we can do better than that in this district. He’s never going to fight to transform this corrupt, political, and economic status quo that produces billionaires with more wealth than entire nations while we have hundreds of thousands of people sleeping on the streets of our country.
Kai himself has deep connections to PDA and has been a leading voice for nonviolence, democracy, and human rights.
Finally, we will also hear from Chuck Borges for the Maryland Senate. Chuck has an opportunity to flip a red seat, just as his district and community are under threat from massive data center development.
Chuck has also appeared on CNN as a whistleblower, calling out that the Trump Administration has “recklessly put at risk Americans’ personal Social Security data.”
See you tomorrow!
